Tiwa Savage rocks town again with ‘All Over’



After doing the unthinkable in 2016 by returning with an album early into her motherhood, Tiwatope Savage, well known by her stage name, Tiwa Savage, no doubt has gotten to a level in her career, where she is beyond criticism as a celebrity.
The Mavin queen and Roc Nation singer, despite all that life has thrown at her personally and professionally is loved and admired beyond reason, whilst being constantly as a symbol of female achievement in Nigeria.
In a recent interview, Tiwa said “all that has been written about me doesn’t really affect me anymore. When I got into the industry initially, it was very difficult for anybody to realise this. But now, I have come to the realisation that the hard work you put in and the positive things that you do as an artiste always outweighs the negative.” 
“Whether you’re in the media, a banker or a nurse, you’re going to have people talk about you. Not everyone loves Jesus Christ, so who am I to talk about people saying things about me? You can’t make everyone happy. I don’t try to waste time on people that don’t love me, so I just spend time with people that love me and don’t disappoint them,” she added. Her many singles have served as her sailing ship, which have taken her back to the summit of the Africa continent, where she regarded as a goddess.
She is said to be Nigeria’s version of America’s soul singer, Beyonce. She found a way to get her groove back with her freshly made hit, All Over, which sails in just in time for the promotional circle of summer hits across the world.
The new song touches on very a familiar topic of love, as there is a slight superficial knowledge of the subject romance, as Tiwa Savage opens with ‘Make we scatter this place tonight…’
The Kele Kele Love crooner is in her element again as a happy lover, who is heady with passion, and expresses the feeling with abandon. ‘Na because of you I get goose bumps, this feeling got me falling…’
The rhythm and progression of the song is very similar with the template on ‘My darling’, the 2015 hit song produced by Don Jazzy. Its deep muscular beat patterns still requires multiple listens to sink in.
Recalled she in 2016, pen a deal with world-renowned record label, Roc Nation, which she sealed with collaboration with US rapper, Remy Ma.
Her sophomore album R.E.D, which was released in 2015, has ran course and served its purpose.
With the stakes getting higher by the day in the Nigerian music industry, it will be crucial to see what new levels Tiwa intends to upgrade her art to, and whatever she has in store for everyone this year.
