We're working towards success in 2019 elections - INEC



INEC National Commissioner in charge of Sokoto, KebbThe Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) today reiterated that it would leave no stone unturned in ensuring the success of the 2019 general elections.i and Zamfara, Hajiya Amina Zakari disclosed this at the flag off of continuous voters registration exercise at Wamakko local government area.

She said that the commission had introduced several innovative technologies for effective and efficient service
delivery and to further enhance transparency in the electoral process.

According to her, comprehensive voters register forms the bedrock of credible and acceptable election, calling on political parties to mobilize their members for the exercise.

She also assured that the exercise would be hitch-free as adequate measures were in place to make the exercise a successful one.

Mrs Zakari said the registration would only take place at the INEC offices in local government areas.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Wamakko local government area, Alhaji Abdullahi Kalambaina urged the electoral body to open the same registration centres at the ward levels
