With the title race now blown wide open thanks to Manchester United's comfortable win over Chelsea on Sunday, we were once again treated to another exciting weekend of Premier League action that had plenty of twists and turns along the way.

27 goals were scored in the nine matches played by the end of Sunday, as Spurs won yet another home game, Sunderland ended their goal drought and Liverpool claimed another vital three points in their quest for a top four finish.

On his day, Xherdan Shaqiri looks like a proper player. The Swiss international easily scored the goal of the weekend with his superb 30-yard strike that flew into the top corner. The swerve and dip on the shot gave Hull keeper Eldin Jakupovic no chance whatsoever and once again highlighted the talent that Shaqiri possesses.
