The San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears and New York Jets pick second, third and sixth, respectively, in the 2017 NFL draft on April 27. However, each team is reportedly willing to trade down.
Peter King of MMQB.com reported Monday he heard those teams are "most antsy to move back in a market with few teams wanting to move up." The Cleveland Browns are a potential candidate to move into the top 10 from the No. 12 spot, per King.
On April 12, 49ers general manager John Lynch told reporters the organization is "open for business" in regard to a potential deal during the draft. NBC Sports' Michael David Smith noted on April 12 that "Lynch said he has already talked to some teams about a potential trade and hopes to talk to more."
In his latest mock draft published April 14, Bleacher Report's Matt Miller predicted the 49ers would select LSU running back Leonard Fournette at No. 2, the Bears would pick Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore at No. 3 and the Jets would take LSU safety Jamal Adams at No. 6.
