VIDEO: How EFCC uncovered $43.4m, N23.2m, £27,800 In Ikoyi Apartment

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today stormed a residential building on the 7th floor of a four-bedroom apartment at Osborne Towers located at 16 Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, where a humongous find of foreign currencies and Naira notes to the tune of $43.4m, £27,800 and N23.2m was uncovered.
The Osborne Towers is reportedly owned by former PDP National Working Committee Chairman, Adamu Muazu.
It was also established that the Former PDP National Working Committee Chairman Adamu Muazu lives in the PentHouse of 16 Osborne Rd Ikoyi where the money was found.
Some of the monies hidden behind a false wall were wrapped in Jonathan/Sambo campaign bags, EFCC discovered.
There are also speculations that Esther Ogbue one of NNPC Group MDs might be the owner of Ikoyi money.
However, investigations are still ongoing.
