Newcomer to the game, “Big B“, born, Bunie Mbonu is a Port-Harcourt city brought up rapper, originally from Anambra state, known for his breathtaking lyricism and ability to laydown both simple and complex flows side by side, while also having a knack for catchy melodies, citing the likes of MI, Tuface, Nas, etc as the inspiration behind his sound.
On “Put In Work“, his first release, Big B looks to have achieved something extraordinary, finding the right balance between Afrohiphop and Trap, creating a song everybody could vibe to, while also passing a message.
It’s definitely not a sound you hear everyday. It looks like someone has finally stepped to put Ph city on naija’s hiphop map.
