The Federal Capital Territory Minister,  Muhammad  Musa Bello, has assured the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on a permanent orientation camp.

Speaking yesterday in Abuja when the NYSC Director- General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, paid him a courtesy visit, he acknowledged that the present facility had been over-stretched due to the urbanisation of the city, thereby leading to the introduction of about three batches of orientation exercises.

Bello who said the secretariat would be relocated to a stand-alone office this year or “latest next year,” also assured that the permanent secretary of the ministry would allocate a utility vehicle to the secretariat.

Earlier, the NYSC director general lamented that the FCT NYSC orientation camp was over-stretched and could no longer accommodate the number of corps members as well as the activities of the scheme on camp.
