Ogun alleges plan by opposition to hijack CDAs


 Ogun State Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Mr. Gbenga Adenmosun, has raised alarm over an alleged plan by the opposition to hijack activities of the Community Development Associations (CDAs) from the state government.
Adenmosun, while speaking at a one-day interactive session for new Chairmen and Secretaries to Local Governments (SLGs) and Heads of Local Government Administration (HOLGAs), organised by the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Abeokuta, at the weekend, said the present administration could, however, check the process.
The commissioner, who said the report of the planned hijack was coming from Remo and Ijebu axis of the state, emphasised the need for collaborative efforts between the government and the CDAs to check the agenda to destabilise government.
