Buhari told to look beyond APC


An ex-diplomat, Mr Oseloka Obaze, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to look beyond the ruling APC in finding lasting solution to the country’s economic woes.
He said the lingering economic crises rocking the country required concerted effort devoid of political inclinations.
Obaze made the call in a lecture he delivered at the Correspondents’ Chapel Forum of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, themed ‘Conflict Between Politics and Governance, Bane of Economic and Social Development’.
“What is needed now is to summon the best brains to proffer solutions to the country’s problems; it should not be an APC show. If Okonjo Iweala is good, you bring her in; if somebody in PDP is good, you involve him. Don’t say we defeated them,” he noted.
