Nigerian politician Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has commended the Senate for confirming the appointment of Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni as a minister representing the state.

Speaking through his Director General on Media and Strategy, Kingsley Fanwo, in Lokoja, yesterday, Governor Bello thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for finding Prof. Ocheni worthy of serving in his administration.

“The Senate today, rose above primordial interests to respond to our national need for men of integrity and capacity to drive the Change Agenda of Mr. President. Professor Ocheni is a brilliant scholar, excellent administrator and a staunch believer in the desire and drive of Mr. President to rebuild our nation,” Bello said.
