Will a new daughter have an influence on Davido’s music?

Fatherhood has and will never affect Davido’s style of music. The man is a pop artist who is tasked with making hit music for the popular market.

Just in case you didn’t know, Davido is about to become a father for the second time.

The DMW boss is expecting his second daughter from a lady named Amanda. This he confirmed in an interview with Beat 99.9 FM, in Lagos.

And as I write this article, Amanda is currently in labour in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where she is expected to give birth safely to another member of the next generation of Adelekes. This would make it baby number two, with his first daughter, Imade, who came into the world in 2015. Her mother is Sophia Momodu, a niece of the great journalist and national commentator, Dele Momodu.
