Utomi counsels youth on creative enterprise
A renowned Economist and Founder, Center for Values in Leadership, Prof. Pat Utomi, has advised young entrepreneurs to think creatively on how to leverage on the inherent opportunities presented by the present economic outlook occasioned by the recession and not be frightened by it.
Utomi spoke Friday at a one day lecture organized by the Nigeria Britain Association held at the Lagos Resource Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The lecture with the theme “Opportunities in a Recession, the Role of Creative Enterprise” featured economic experts who shared their ideas on global best practices relating to creative enterprise and its benefits to economic recovery and growth, especially in a depressed economy.
Speaking, General Manager, Enterprise Development Center (EDC), Mr. Wale Anifowoshe enjoined budding entrepreneurs to create value always as the only sure way to remain afloat in their pursuit in spite of daunting challenges.
 In his remark, President Nigeria-Britain Association, Mr. Funmi Onabolu, commended participants who attended the lecture, describing it as “a good sign for greater things to come”.
