LeToya Luckett Is More Than Ready To Come ‘Back 2 Life’ With Her New Album

LeToya Luckett has been through her share of ups and downs since her 2014 single “Don’t Make Me Wait.” Within the last three years she spent out of the spotlight, Luckett invested herself into a serious relationship with author Rob Hill Sr. that quickly turned into a short-lived marriage. Now that she’s fully regained her independence, the former Destiny’s Child songstress finally releases her long awaited solo album Back 2 Life.

The 13-track LP features soulful and trap-influenced records about her emotional struggles with love on songs like “Disconnected” and “Worlds Apart.” She also lets her fans know that she’s doing just fine and plans to stay in her great space with songs like “I’m Ready” and “Weekend.” The only other artist featured on the album is Ludacris, who comes through for her single “Grey.”
