Four persons
have lost their lives in two separate accidents in Abaji and Gwarinpa
areas of the Federal Capital Territory during the weekend.
Two other persons sustained injuries in
the crash, which occurred on Friday night at Naharati village, near
Abaji, on Abuja-Lokoja road.
A witness said the accident happened at
about 8:29p.m. and involved three vehicles, a Toyota Carina with

When contacted, the Abaji Unit Commander of the FRSC, Assistant Corps Commander, Olasupo Esuruoso, confirmed the accident.
He attributed it to over speeding and
wrongful overtaking, saying the two corpses have been deposited at Abaji
General Hospital morgue, while the two injured victims were at the same
hospital.
Meanwhile, a policeman and an
unidentified woman died when their vehicles collided at Gwarinpa which
also left one person injured.
The accident happened on Saturday at about 7:30a.m. at the Gwarinpa Bypass Expressway.
The police sergeant with the Special
