Ekweremadu tackles Chime for joining APC

Deputy
President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, has chided a former governor
of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime for joining the All Progressives Congress
(APC).
Ekweremadu said Chime joined the APC
because of “inexperience,” and recalled that it was history that
repeated itself in Enugu State.
He said former political leaders from
the state always dumped the PDP after using it to climb the ladder of
political prominence.
Ekweremadu, who spoke on Chime’s
movement to the APC when the people of Udi Local Government Area visited
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, said all those who dumped the PDP were yet
to recover from their political blunder.
According to him, Chime’s defection will
not make any difference because he was not accorded any recognition by
the national headquarters of the APC during the defection.
Governor Ugwuanyi appreciated the efforts they made in coming to visit him, saying that Enugu state remains in the hands of God.
