Lionel Messi Finally Agrees New Barca Deal With MASSIVE Release Clause





Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi has agreed a new five-year deal to remain at the Camp Nou with a massive £350million release clause.
The Argentine superstar has been delayed contract with the Catalan giants sparking intense speculation over his future, with suggestions that the five-time Ballon Dór winner will finally quit the club.
The 29-year-old was linked with a move away from Barcelona, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City botth believed to be interested in making a move for him.
Reports from Spanish outlets also claimed that Messi was not ready to pen a new deal with Barca, despite club president Josep Maria Bartomeu insisting that the Argentine will remain at the Camp Nou.
Reliable Spanish outlet, Marca have now revealed that Messi’s representatives have agreed a new deal with Barcelona after several talks to end speculation over the player’s future.
Before now, Barca were at the risk of losing Messi on a free next year as his existing contract ends 2018.
The 29-year-old who is currently on international duties with Argentina, was engulfed with financial issues after it emerged that he evaded tax in Spain, resulting into a fine and jail term for the player and his father, Jorge.
