‘Ungwar Dio LEA project not funded by JICA’

Change Managers International Network (CMIN), a Non-Governmental Organization that is implementing the school project at LEA Primary School Unguwar Dio has said the project is being funded by the Grassroots Human and Security Project (GGP) and the Embassy of Japan in Nigeria.
In a reaction to Daily Trust report titled, Ungwar Dio pupils learn under tree, published on May 10, 2017, the Director Programmes of the NGO, Angela Onome Ifekawa, said the project was not funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as stated in the report.
“The project will be commissioned before the next academic year so as to reduce the situation of the pupils and teachers which is not conducive for learning,” the letter explained.
